A: To make the most of your time together, plan a combination of outings and at-home activities. You may be tempted to pack your itinerary with trips to all the memorable local attractions, such as zoos, amusement parks, museums and shows. But keep in mind that a 5-year-old can easily become overwhelmed by too many new sights. One or two such trips are probably enough for a three-day visit. Balance them with some more low-key outings, such as going to a local playground or library.
Remember that simply playing outdoors, especially in a new backyard or in a neighborhood park, is a perfect activity when weather permits.
For times you'll spend at home, stock up on basics: a children's book or two, perhaps a toy. Don't feel as though you need to buy out the local toy store to keep a child entertained, however. Children bring creativity to all sorts of everyday materials — constructing cities out of cardboard boxes, for example, or jewelry from pasta and string. Have on hand some basic craft supplies like crayons, paper and a glue stick.
Some of your own clothes, like hats, aprons and scarves, can provide great dress-up fun. Many kids enjoy cooking, and your niece might like to help you make and sample whatever is under way in the kitchen.
No matter what you plan, keep your schedule flexible, and don't worry if your niece loses interest in a particular activity — 5-year-olds tend to stay focused for anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes on any given diversion.

A man was arrested this month to give suggestions on how to commit suicide. Kazunari Saito, a 33-year-old electrician, rana site wihch gives advices about different ways of regarding suicide. Kazunari was arrested as he suggested the way to suicide a japaneese women Sayaka Nishizawa, 21, being paid $1,700, by the woman.
Her body was found on April 16 in her apartment in Kanagawa, just south of Tokyo. Her keys, cellphone and some other things were missing. Police investigate the matter after the suggestion note had been found.

The Milky Way galaxy weighs about 1 trillion times as much as our sun, according to a new estimate.
Previous estimates had ranged from 750 billion solar masses to up to 2 trillion. Lately, researchers have been leaning toward the higher figure. But now astronomers have used a more refined method to conclude that our galaxy's mass is slightly less than 1 trillion solar masses.
The galaxy's mass is a mix of stars, gas, dust and mysterious dark matter.
The new estimate is based on a large sample of stars in the galactic halo, a relatively sparse sphere of stars that surrounds our galaxy's main disk. The speeds of stars in the halo reveal the mass of the galaxy by allowing astrophysicists to infer the amount of gravity required to keep those stars in orbit.
"The galaxy is slimmer than we thought," said Xiangxiang Xue of the National Astronomical Observatories of China, who led the international team of researchers. "That means it has less dark matter than previously believed, but also that it was more efficient in converting its original supply of hydrogen and helium into stars."
The finding, based on data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS-II), has broad implications for our understanding of the Milky Way, the researchers said in a statement.
"The total mass of the galaxy is hard to measure because we're stuck in the middle of it," explained collaborator Timothy Beers of Michigan State University. "But it is the single most fundamental number we have to know if we want to understand how the Milky Way formed or compare it to distant galaxies that we see from the outside."
Previous estimates had been based on 500 objects or fewer. The new math was based on data for 2,400 stars.
The larger data set "gives us a huge statistical advantage," said study team member Hans-Walter Rix of the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy (MPIA) in Heidelberg, Germany.
The research will be detailed later this year in the Astrophysical Journal.
